AutoAccru is bringing the power of AI to small and midsize accounting firms. Our mission is to save 100M hours spent on bookkeeping tasks by the end of the decade, and we’re looking for a CTO/Founding Engineer to join us.

About the Role

As our CTO/founding engineer, you'll work directly with the founding team to:

• Architect and implement scalable infrastructure from the ground up
• Design and develop features that leverage cutting-edge AI
• Make critical technical decisions that will shape our product's future
• Help build and nurture our engineering culture as we grow

What We're Looking For

• Raw technical talent and the ability to learn anything quickly
• Strong foundation in full-stack development, with a focus on infrastructure
• Track record of building impressive things, whether in start-ups, side projects, open source, or previous roles
• Experience working with AI/ML technologies
• Ability to move fast and make smart technical decisions with limited or changing information
• Excitement and enthusiasm for solving hard problems and building from scratch
• Bonus: previous experience building software within the accounting vertical or Fintechs more broadly
